Notes from Supporters

I have been involved with what Helping Hands is doing since the early stages of its development.  I continue to blessed by being able to see peoples lives impacted in a positive way.  I have been apart of Bible studies, social gatherings (with some good food I may add), giving to the Thrift Store, and I am most blessed by watching and being a part of changed lives for the better.  Helping Hands is evolving into an ever increasing fruitful ministry where people are finding hope, strength, comfort, and help in being all that God has called them to be.  I am looking forward to seeing what God is going to do through Helping Hands for those who have lost hope and need help.  May I encourage you to ask God to grant wisdom, love, and power in bringing hope and help to those who need it most!  Thank You!  -KD

Like many others, I take the path of least resistance when I see a homeless or needy person. Often I have felt compassion and a desire to help. Not really knowing what to do, the easiest thing to do is a hand-out of $5 or so, and walk away. Having $5 may change their lives that day; it doesn’t help the next day or the next week. What I like about Helping Hands is their effort to restore and build a person’s life for the long run … a life filled with meaning and purpose. — TR
